Dumper Driver/Machine Operator (Civils Team)
Location: Slough, Southampton, or Poole (Wessex region)
Salary: 32,412 per annum, with additional benefits supporting family, finances, and wellbeing
Happy to discuss contract rate
Working Pattern: Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm. Overtime available.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Dumper Driver/Machine Operator to join our Civils Team, working on an LV/EHV contract in the Wessex region for a prominent DNO. You will perform a range of duties from operating machinery for excavations and installations to supporting utility setups.
What You'll Do:
- Read and interpret setting-to-work documentation, including utility prints
- Perform excavations and utility setups on verges, footways, and roads
- Operate machinery such as excavators and dumpers safely and efficiently
- Support team members with traffic management procedures
- Assist in reinstating surfaces (concrete, tarmac) to ensure project completion
Requirements:
- Streetworks ticket
- CPCS Excavator and Dumper Operator certifications
- CSCS Skilled Blue Card
- Clean driving license
Nice to Have:
- IPAF/PASMA working at heights training
- HGV Class 2 license
