Title: Small Works Project Manager

The Company: Fire and Security Company, founded over 40 years ago are seeking a Small Works Project Manager to join their expanding team due to winning new projects and contracts across the UK. NSI Gold and BAFE approved, you can trust you will be working with the best engineers and systems across major customer sites.

  • Up to £60,000 basic starting salary DOE

Main Responsibilities:

  • 3+ years’ experience working with Fire Alarms
  • Attending Client meetings
  • Looking after and managing engineers, both in house and subcontractors
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Resolve systemic issues providing short, medium and long-term solutions
  • Meeting with clients for detailed ordering briefs and comprehensive project plans
  • Stock allocation and management
  • System Design and Surveying
  • Quality Assurance and Snagging works

Knowledge and experience:

  • 3+ years’ experience in the Fire and Security Industry
  • Proven track record in project management in the Fire and Security Industry
  • Experience with Fire alarms is essential
  • UK Driving License – no points desired
  • ECS Card
  • SSSTS or IOSH is essential
  • FIA is essential
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification would be advantageous
  • Great knowledge and understanding of British Standards
