Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Assistant to join our team at a school in Iver. This ongoing position offers a great opportunity to work in a supportive environment, ensuring the smooth operation of the school’s kitchen and dining areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and serving of meals to students and staff.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in the kitchen and dining areas.
- Wash up and maintain kitchen equipment.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Support the kitchen team with any other tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Must be open to applying for a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check before starting.
- Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment is preferred but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
