We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Financial Administrator / Paraplanner to support our client’s advisory team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial planning, exceptional organisational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both clients and colleagues. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of their financial planning services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Client Support: Assist financial advisors in preparing for client meetings, including the production of reports, financial plans, and recommendations.

- Administration: Handle day-to-day administrative tasks such as managing client files, updating client records, and processing new business applications.

- Research: Conduct thorough research on financial products, investment options, and market trends to support advisors in making informed recommendations.

- Compliance: Ensure all client interactions and documentation comply with FCA regulations and company policies.

-Communication: Liaise with clients to gather necessary information, answer queries, and provide updates on their financial plans.

- Reporting: Prepare detailed financial reports, projections, and summaries for advisor review and client presentation.

- Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our CRM system and ensure data integrity.

Qualifications:

- Education: Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent qualification would be preferred but relevant experience working as a financial administrator/paraplanner is more important.

- Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a financial administrator or related role.

-Key Skills:

- Strong analytical and numerical skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

- High attention to detail and organisational skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- IT Skills:

-Fully competent in desktop applications, (proficient in Microsoft Word. Excel and Outlook)

-Experience with FE Analytics preferred but not essential as Training offered

-Intelliflo is our back-office system - previous experience not essential -training offered

-Preferred Attributes:

-Understanding of financial products, investment strategies, and market trends.

-Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards within the UK financial services industry.

-A team player with a can-do attitude.
