The Role:

Our client is a well established engineering & manufacturing business with market leading products and services. They are currently looking to strengthen the QA team with an inspector who would support production on the following shift pattern:

3 on 3 off rotational 12 hour shifts
6am - 6pm 3 day shift, 3 off, 6pm - 6am night shift, 3 off

32500 inc shift allwoance, rising to 33400 after probationary review (including shift premium)

Performing final QA checks on all assemblies, to ensure product is within the required specifications and free from defects.

Performing final QA checks on all company products prior to release for shipping, ensuring all products are within the required specifications and free from defects.

Inspection and approval of 1st off Press samples ensuring product is within the required specifications and free from defects.

Carrying out random in-process inspection throughout the manufacturing processes ensuring product is within the required specifications and free from defects.


The Person:

We are looking for experienced individuals with previous inspection responsibilities in an engineering product led environment - either as a dedicated QA inspector or from working within all areas of a production shop floor as an Senior Operator or Team Leader where inspection has been a central component of the role.

Candidates must have good written and verbal communication skills to be able to carry out the role effectively.
