The School and Role

At Vision for Education, we are seeking a Full-Time SEN teaching assistant to work at a school in South Tyneside. In this role, you will provide 1:1 support for a child in upper KS2 with SEMH needs, previous experience of working with SEMH is required. This role will include offering support both inside and outside of the classroom at times in small breakout rooms. The Senior Leadership team are looking to appoint a pro-active, nurturing and experienced candidate for this role.

Requirements:

The desired Teaching Assistant will have;

  • Experience of working within KS2.
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
  • Experience of working with pupils with low attainment
  • A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
  • An ability to work as part of a team
