HR Administrator - 6 month contract - Jersey

Meraki Talent are partnering with a fabulous Law firm based in Jersey who are looking to recruit a HR Administrator on a 6 month contract to start immediately. Please only apply if you can start immediately.

This is an opportunity to support the Central HR team by taking responsibility of the HR administrative tasks. This is a great opportunity not only to develop your HR admin experience in a law firm, but to enhance your HR knowledge too by getting fully involved in all the team's activities.

Key Responsibilities as HR Administrator:

  • Proactively managing all aspects of on-boarding of new staff, ensuring all due diligence on candidates is completed efficiently and promptly
  • Preparing and booking all meetings relating to new starter induction timetables and taking an active role in the integration of new starters
  • Managing the full leaver and change in circumstances processes
  • Maintaining various portals linked to the management of our benefits
  • Preparing Excel reports as required by team members and the wider business
  • Maintaining a range of HR databases so that all record keeping is accurate and up to date
  • Managing day to day use of our HR system and troubleshooting and resolving queries from the business
  • Assisting with the administration and management of student placements (including bursary, general and legal work experience and Project Trident students).
  • Being the first point of contact for general internal queries
  • Providing administration support for all training and development initiatives
  • Providing a full range of support with all employee engagement, wellbeing and social initiatives, both generally and within the team
