The position available is for a Head of Claims within the Insurance sector, specifically based in the Channel Islands, either Jersey or Guernsey.
The role is permanent with a salary range of £80,000 to £120,000, plus benefits and a bonus, with a fixed income tax rate of 20% in the Islands.
Candidates must have significant experience in the Insurance sector, particularly in Commercial and General Insurance, and hold a previous role such as Head of Claims, Senior Claims Manager, or Claims Director.
The role involves managing a team of approximately 2-3 direct reports and 25 indirect reports, with a focus on people management, training, and development.
Additionally, strong communication skills are required to effectively engage with Senior Management and the Board, along with a strategic vision for the department.

One of our leading clients is looking to recruit a Head of Claims within Insurance.

Location - Channel Islands - Guernsey or Jersey

Salary £80,000 - 120,000 + bonus and excellent benefits

(Income tax within the Islands is fixed at 20%)

A full housing licence will be provided and assistance with relocation for candidates based outside of the Channel Islands who are looking to relocate to Jersey or Guernsey.

Experience:

· Must have strong Insurance sector experience - Commercial / General

· Experience in a Head of Claims, Senior Claims Manager, Claims Director role

· People Management, training and development - Team size is approx. 2-3 Direct and 25 Indirect

· Great vision and strategy experience

· Communication skills - happy operating at all levels including Senior Management / Board
