The position available is for a Head of Claims within the insurance sector, located in the Channel Islands (Jersey or Guernsey).
The salary for this permanent role ranges from £80,000 to £120,000, along with benefits and a bonus, with the added advantage of a fixed income tax rate of 20% in the Islands.
Candidates must have significant experience in the insurance sector, specifically in Commercial or General Insurance, and have held roles such as Head of Claims, Senior Claims Manager, or Claims Director.
The ideal candidate should possess strong people management skills, overseeing a team of approximately 2-3 direct reports and 25 indirect reports, while also demonstrating strategic vision and communication abilities at all organizational levels.
Relocation assistance and a housing license will be provided for candidates moving from outside the Channel Islands.

One of our leading clients is looking to recruit a Head of Claims within Insurance.

Location - Channel Islands - Guernsey or Jersey

Salary £80,000 - 120,000 + bonus and excellent benefits

(Income tax within the Islands is fixed at 20%)

Housing licence will be provided and assistance with relocation for candidates based outside of the Channel Islands who are looking to relocate to Jersey or Guernsey.

Experience:

· Must have strong Insurance sector experience - Commercial / General

· Experience in a Head of Claims, Senior Claims Manager, Claims Director role

· People Management, training and development - Team size is approx. 2-3 Direct and 25 Indirect

· Great vision and strategy experience

· Communication skills - happy operating at all levels including Senior Management / Board
