Exclusive Opportunity: Legal Counsel (12-Month Fixed Term Contract) Location: London – Hybrid or Jersey (Hybrid)

We are working exclusively with a leading online media company in the iGaming, sports betting, and personal finance sectors to find a talented Legal Counsel to join their team for a 12-month fixed term contract. This is a unique opportunity to work on high-profile Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) transactions that are central to the company’s strategic growth and objectives.

As part of a collaborative and experienced legal team, you will have the opportunity to work on significant M&A deals, directly contributing to the company’s expansion and success. Your Impact:

In this role, you will:• Take the primary lead on significant M&A transactions, including drafting documentation, conducting due diligence, resolving identified risks, and project managing the entire transaction process.• Collaborate with M&A teams, legal departments, and external advisors to ensure smooth execution of transactions.• Support on other M&A deals as bandwidth allows.• Contribute to the review and negotiation of affiliate marketing contracts with partners.

What You’ll Bring:

• M&A Expertise: 2-3 years post-qualification experience as a solicitor/lawyer, with proven experience leading corporate M&A transactions.• Organisational Excellence: Strong project management skills, with the ability to draft legal documents, manage legal due diligence, and communicate complex legal matters to non-legal stakeholders.• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with internal teams and external advisors, ensuring the smooth execution of key deals.

The Interview Process:

  • First Round : Initial interview with the Talent Partner (30 mins via Zoom)
  • Second Round : Interview with the General Counsel and Head of Legal (1 hour video via Zoom)
