- Ensure that internal procedures and objectives are adhered to in order to meet the quality standard of the business in accordance with ISO9001 and any other product certification requirement.
- Work Alongside Manufacturing Engineers to Optimise productivity.
- Write / Edit programs using and Fanuc controls.
- Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.
- Machining centre housekeeping, check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.
- Inspect and measure First-Off, WIP and finished products to ensure compliance with requirements.
- Assisting the Engineering & Quality dept to achieve key deliverables including problem solving / Root Cause Analysis
- Previous experience of Setting and operating a CNC Lathes using Fanuc controls.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, 3D Models and customer specifications.
- A detailed understanding of FANUC CNC Controls.
- CNC programming: 2 years (required)
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
