This is your opportunity to get involved and be part of their journey.Collaborating closely with the Head of Finance and CFO, you’ll be a key team player.Your mission, to ensure the finance excels in managing financial risks, reporting, strategy, planning, and stress testing. You’ll be pivotal in designing and operating effective financial policies, processes, systems, and controls.Your RoleCollaborating closely with the Head of Finance and CFO, you’ll be a key team player. Your mission, to ensure the finance excels in managing financial risks, reporting, strategy, planning, and stress testing. You’ll be pivotal in designing and operating effective financial policies, processes, systems, and controls.Key Responsibilities will include:Financial Strategy & Reporting:Define and implement our Finance and Treasury strategy. Oversee internal and external financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with UK GAAP and regulatory requirements.Annual Reports:Lead the production of statutory account disclosures and support the audit process.Financial Planning:Drive the annual financial forecasts, budgeting, and stress testing, ensuring robust financial planning and risk management.Operations & Efficiency:Enhance financial operations, manage daily transactions, and lead cost management initiatives.Risk & Compliance:Develop and maintain a risk management framework, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.Team Leadership:Manage and mentor a small Finance Team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.What we are looking for?Our ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant with strong post-qualification experience in a regulated financial services environment.
