- Managing client communications and addressing accounting-related inquiries.
- Compiling financial accounts from various sources, including incomplete records and digital platforms.
- Preparing and filing corporate and personal tax returns.
- Overseeing and mentoring junior team members by reviewing their work.
- Setting up and maintaining new client profiles.
- Providing assistance with VAT submissions and bookkeeping tasks during high-demand periods.
- Undertaking miscellaneous projects and tasks as required.
- Previous experience in an accountancy practice is essential.
- Proficiency in accounting software, Sage, and Xero.
- Advanced working knowledge of Excel.
- Proven expertise in preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Strong ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and drive new business opportunities.
- ACA or ACCA qualifications (desirable).
