Sales Administrator | Keighley | 9:00am to 3:00pm with 30 mins lunch Monday to Friday, although this could be slightly flexible

Our client is the UK’s leading hirer of industrial steam and hot water boilers. The company hires boilers to many market sectors including food and drinks manufacturers, hospitals, pharma and petrochem companies. 

Based in Keighley, West Yorkshire, the company has enjoyed steady growth for many years, and it is because of this expansion that they have the following vacancy.

Please note that the role is permanent after the probationary period and there could be a possibility of this becoming a full-time role in the future.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • Friendly, professional and helpful telephone manner for both incoming and outgoing calls
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written
  • Administration experience in a sales, service, or engineering environment
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 – SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel (use of basic formulas), Teams
  • Good organisational skills to ensure no vital parts of the administrative process are missed

What will your role look like?

Supporting the hire boiler operations by carrying out:

  • Answering incoming telephone calls
  • Control of all contract documents
  • Receiving and chasing up weekly boiler check logs from customers
  • Raising/sending engineers job details
  • Booking accommodation for engineers/drivers
  • Update Boiler/ancillary certification data base
  • Assisting in general administration duties

Contract documentation:

  • Contracts to send to customer for signing
  • Delivery notes
  • Off Hire documents
  • Collection notes
  • Ensuring relevant documents are signed and returned
  • Distributing documents to colleagues
  • Maintaining contract files and uploading to network
  • Process weekly log sheets of boiler checks returned from customers and highlighting any concerns
  • Chase up customers who haven’t returned their log sheets
