Business development managerLeeds based (On the road role with weekly office visits.) £40.000 - £45.000 + Commission DK Recruitment is looking for a goal-getter of a business development area covering our Haulage & distribution client to cover their Leeds area. This role will be a big part on the road, so having clients country wide would be a big advantage. Our client is looking for a seasoned business development manager with a proven track record in selling freight or logistics services. You'll be up to date on the market, and got the contacts to create a strong desk of clients to support their freight and/or logistics needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Being an absolute goal getter
  • Identify new business opportunities through market research and networking.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Working with the internal team, to ensure clients are fully satisfied.
  • Confidence in presentations and public speaking.
  • Achieve sales targets and objectives set by the company.
