From October half term a Keighley Primary school is looking for a learning support assistant to work 1:1 with a girl in Year 2 with global development delay and epilepsy.

Day to day for this learning support assistant role:

  • Supporting with mobility around the school
  • First Aid during daily seizures and after care
  • Supporting child with learning activities
  • Supporting child with communicating

As a learning support assistant you will show strong pastoral and emotional support for your pupil, as well as being vigilant to their cues and needs which will mean able to think on the spot and being flexible with her timetable. The pupil will require some personal care and first aid.
