Forklift Driver

Job Title: Counterbalance Forklift Drivers / Operatives
Location: Keighley
Salary:  £12.13 (PAYE) or £13.59 (Advanced including holiday pay upfront)

Bonus: £500 upon successful completion of 6-month probationary period
Hours: 5 days a week (may include Saturdays), 40-48 hours per week
Job Type: Temp to Perm

Driver Hire Halifax are working alongside a well-established company based in Keighley, looking for a hardworking and dedicated Forklift Driver / Operatives to join the team on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the opportunity for permanent employment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating machinery and handling dairy products in a busy production environment
• Ensuring all health, safety, and hygiene regulations are followed at all times
• Physically demanding work including heavy lifting and standing for long periods
• Assisting with general warehouse duties, stock management, and quality control
• Adhering to strict hygiene and safety protocols throughout the dairy
• Supporting various operational tasks to ensure smooth running of the facility

Requirements:

• Full Counterbalance Fork Truck License (essential and non-negotiable)
• Ability to work 40-48 hours per week, with flexibility to work Saturdays as required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict hygiene and safety standards
• Physically fit to handle the demands of the role
• Experience in a similar role within a production or manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential
