This position will require flexibility on working location, with accommodation provided, along with transport.

Key responsibilities:

  • Erection of mechanical assemblies, mainly pipework but including supports and steelwork.
  • Inspection of equipment and identify faulty components and defects and upholding high levels of attention to detail.
  • Ensure quality, environmental and health and safety procedures are adhered to.
  • Assist other disciplines when required.
  • Ensure safe use of hand tools, machinery, and other equipment.
  • Ensure equipment is maintained to a high and safe standard.

Experience/Qualifications:

  • Possess a mechanical understanding and knowledge of pipework systems and steelwork installations
  • The ability to understand and use arrangement drawings and P&IDs.
  • To be organised and have the ability to plan daily and weekly activities
  • Capable of self-checking work and to possess high personal standards with respect to Environment, Quality and Health & Safety.
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Although training will be provided, it is beneficial to hold certifications such as EUSR Water Hygiene, CSCS Labourer (minimum), IPAF, PASMA, and Slinger Banksman. This list is not exhaustive.
