Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £38,000 - £39,000

Shift: 2 Shift of Earlies and Lates Mon-Fri

Location: Steeton, West Yorkshire

We are recruiting for a growing, fast-paced manufacturer who have an opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer based in Steeton. We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical bias from an industrial/manufacturing background, holding relevant engineering qualifications.

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will carry out planned maintenance activities and respond promptly to breakdowns, ensuring all actions and further requirements are clearly documented. You will work proactively to prevent equipment failures, enhance machinery performance, and implement improvements to minimize downtime. Effective communication with team members and relevant personnel will be a key aspect of the role.

Skills required for the Maintenance Engineer:

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in an industrial environment.
  • Strong mechanical engineering skills
