This role will be heavily focused on leading CI projects across site. You will be tasked with improving and automating the production process to improve efficiency, increase capacity and improve quality.

Description
- To standardise, improve and automate the production process to improve efficiency, increase capacity and improve quality.
- Understand current manufacturing processes and their limitations, to identify key areas for improvements
- Scope solutions to manufacturing bottlenecks, working with cross-discipline teams to ensure the solutions are suitable
- Manage projects to implement the solutions from initiation to completion, ensuring key deliverables are met in a timely manner
- Produce Gantt charts for each project to ensure visibility and accurate tracking
- Implement fixes to quality issues as they arise, with process improvements and changes to jigs and fixtures as required
- Ensure documentation relating to changes is up to date and ISO9001 compliant
- To deliver CI projects to improve production capacity
- To implement process changes that reduce waste/cost/improve quality
- Make sure manufacturing documentation is up to date and ISO9001 compliant
Profile
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a project/manufacturing engineer/process engineer role
- Good teamworking and people skills
- Great at problem solving
- Able to implement changes and deliver results
- Excellent attention to detail
- Lean six sigma/kaizen and other CI experience preferred but not essential
- CAD experience preferred but not essential
Job Offer
Salary: 40k - 42k
