We are a Global manufacturer for the automotive and Aerospace industries, our head office in Keighley, now requires 2 Project Engineers to support our worldwide customer base.

The Teconnex Project Engineering team provide solutions for our customers, we dont sell from a catalogue we really get to know our customers needs and provide ideas and concepts, You could also travel, we work with some impressive customers from all over the world, in a world of modern technology sometimes good old face to face meeting working together on custom solutions is what is needed.

Working on the end-to-end product design and co-ordinate product management along with day-to-day collaboration with cross functional teams.

About the role

  • You will Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute projects aligned with organisational goals and objectives.
  • The project engineer coordinates the project management activities within the business.
  • You will Lead design activities including CAD design of parts and associated assessments of design, costing of parts and maintenance of ERP.
  • Preparing documentation, including progress reports, technical specifications, and design review presentations, to communicate project status and updates to stakeholders.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and suppliers, to understand their requirements and expectations regarding project deliverables. Adopting a customer-centric approach.
  • Provide proactive feedback to all stakeholder to ensure alignment.
  • Ensure project designs adhere to relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements etc. such as IATF 16949 and AS 9100.
  • Plan and execute project design activities in accordance with APQP.
  • Monitor project progress, identify deviations from planned milestones, and implement corrective actions as needed to mitigate delays and ensure successful project completion.

About you:

  • A background spent within an automotive, aerospace manufacturing environment and has knowledge of the regulatory standards and industry guidelines related to these industries.
  • You will be a qualified Engineer
  • Project management experience, which includes APQP
  • Customer experience, working with external customers, able to communicate effective solutions and deliver to customer requirements.
  • Creative thinking and able to deliver innovative solutions
