Tailored Recruitment Consultancy are working with a leading Processing Dairy to recruit a Production Team Leader at their Keighley site.

The Job.

The role is permanent &andis a key link within the dairy operation, reporting to the Production supervisor. The successful applicant must be a conscientious, competent individual who expects high standards from both themselves & staff under their control.

Instruct & oversee small groups of Dairy Operators in the following areas:

  • To oversee and help maintain an efficient production line bycommunicating with other team members.
  • Manage the efforts and delegate tasks so that the team can meet production targets.
  • Maintain and educate team members about the preferred company Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  • The filling and packing of finished products, including quality control checks and C.I.P.
  • To monitor operatives and covering each area during morning and afternoon breaks.
  • Perform titration tests and record the results on appropriate documents.
  • To assist and manage the unloading of wagons to ensure they are completed on time.
  • To record hourly checks and monitoring on appropriate documentation.
  • Ensure the hygiene and clean down tasks are completed to the standards required.
  • To assist the production manager with the day-to-day duties of running the production line.

This is a hands-onrole & the successful applicant will need tobe physically fit as it may involve loading/checking vehicles when necessary.

This is a full-time position based around a 48-hour working week, working 4 out of 6 days which will include a Saturday (Saturdays will be on rotation when possible).
