Overview:Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Tool Maker to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a professional environment where precision and craftsmanship are highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manufacture tooling accurately and efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Operate a variety of tool room machinery, including:
- Centre lathes
- Vertical millers
- Grinding machines
- CNC milling and turning equipment
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as gauges and devices to ensure high standards of quality.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and maintain production schedules.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Tool Maker in a similar role.
- Proficiency in operating general tool room machinery and CNC equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
- Familiarity with a range of precision measuring tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:30 am to 4:30 pm
- Friday: 7:30 am to 11:30 am
Compensation:
- Hourly Rate: £16.61
