Route 1 are currently working with a reputable transport company in the Skipton area, due to fleet expansion and business growth our client are now looking for a competent Transport Planner to join their busy team.
You will be route planning for over 50 vehicles with the assistance of your team and a tracking system, as well as planning the loading of trailers for groupage deliveries. You will also be responsible for tracking and booking MOT's for the full fleet.
Customer service is paramount for this role and therefore you must be able to demonstrate strong customer service and internal communication skills.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for a positive, but busy atmosphere, our client has built a fantastic team and has a lot to offer with asolid working environment.
Hours: 46 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, with flexibility to cover the needs of the department, including to cover on call out of hours on a rotation basis.
Salary: Starter Salary up to 35k dependant on experience and training requirements.
