- Accurately establish site boundaries, reference points, and levels to guide construction activities.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the site team, ensuring compliance with construction plans and specifications.
- Monitor the quality of construction work to ensure it meets project standards and specifications.
- Maintain detailed records of all setting out and surveying activities, including drawings, calculations, and reports.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Ensure that all setting out activities are conducted in accordance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in setting out engineering, surveying, or a related role in the construction industry.
- Proficiency with surveying instruments and software (e.g., total stations, GPS, AutoCAD).
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Must have Sub Station experience with CAT 1-3.
- High level of precision and accuracy in setting out tasks.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work environments.
- Primarily on construction sites, with exposure to varying weather conditions.
- May require travel to different project sites.
