As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the design & manufacture of Chlorine Dioxide systems and equipment for the future.
Responsibilities:
- Utilise 2D/3D CAD software to design and create engineering solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new products
- Ensure projects meet technical specifications and standards
- Performing computer simulations and experiments to virtually test and refine the designs
- Planning and executing mechanical designs using CAD, CAM, and 3D CAD programs
- Documenting the design process, iterations, and test analytics
Requirements:
- Degree-level education in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer
- Proficient in 2D/3D CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
- Sound knowledge of design and engineering principles and best practices
- Experience of design stock listing with MRP systems
