Management Accountant - Broad role - Growing business
  • Annual Salary: Upto £40k
  • Location: UK (Hybrid - 3 days in the office per week)

Join a growing second-generation family-owned business, operating across the UK and Europe. As a Management Accountant, you will be part of a dynamic finance team, playing a key role in supporting financial operations and contributing to the strategic growth of the company.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Work within a finance team of eight who cover all areas of finance including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and business partnering.
  • Support the Financial Controller and Financial Analyst with all aspects of internal and external reporting.
  • Lead the management reporting cycle, including monthly and weekly reporting.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Act as a business partner to the sales team, managing stock, reporting, and forecasting.
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis and recommendations to support the family and wider business.
  • Serve as the system lead for Sage Intacct, ensuring optimal use and integration into business processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Ideally ACA/ACCA practice qualified with two to three years of post-qualification experience in industry.
  • Strong technical accounting skills combined with a commercial mindset.
  • Willingness to engage in a broad range of finance activities, from management reporting to VAT returns and budget preparation.
  • A passion for process improvement to support business growth.
  • Experience with financial and non-financial systems, using them to create insights that drive business forward.
  • Effective communication skills, capable of engaging and influencing non-finance stakeholders.
