Management Accountant - Broad role - Growing business

Annual Salary: Upto £40k
Location: UK (Hybrid - 3 days in the office per week)

Join a growing second-generation family-owned business, operating across the UK and Europe. As a Management Accountant, you will be part of a dynamic finance team, playing a key role in supporting financial operations and contributing to the strategic growth of the company.

Day-to-day of the role:

Work within a finance team of eight who cover all areas of finance including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and business partnering.
Support the Financial Controller and Financial Analyst with all aspects of internal and external reporting.
Lead the management reporting cycle, including monthly and weekly reporting.
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
Act as a business partner to the sales team, managing stock, reporting, and forecasting.
Provide ad hoc financial analysis and recommendations to support the family and wider business.
Serve as the system lead for Sage Intacct, ensuring optimal use and integration into business processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Ideally ACA/ACCA practice qualified with two to three years of post-qualification experience in industry.
Strong technical accounting skills combined with a commercial mindset.
Willingness to engage in a broad range of finance activities, from management reporting to VAT returns and budget preparation.
A passion for process improvement to support business growth.
Experience with financial and non-financial systems, using them to create insights that drive business forward.
Effective communication skills, capable of engaging and influencing non-finance stakeholders.
