They are seeking a Qualified Accountant to oversee financial records for a diverse client portfolio while managing the daily operations of the practice team.

Key Responsibilities:

? Conduct client meetings both virtually and in person.? Provide expert tax advice and prepare annual accounts.? Review and approve work completed by the accounting team.? Handle self-assessment tax returns, HMRC audits, and investigations.? Address client concerns and manage complex issues efficiently.? Monitor and analyse KPI-related data, attending management meetings as needed.? Represent the firm with professionalism, upholding high standards of service.? Commit to continuous professional development.? Mentor and support staff, fostering future growth within the firm.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

?? ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification.?? Strong proficiency in cloud accounting software (FreeAgent, QuickBooks, Xero).?? Proven experience managing a client portfolio and leading a team.?? Solid knowledge of accounting and taxation, including income tax, corporation tax, VAT, and PAYE.?? Excellent problem-solving skills, with a commitment to accuracy and professionalism.?? Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise with senior management.?? Exceptional time management and ability to meet deadlines.

Desirable Skills:

? Knowledge of capital gains and inheritance tax.? Experience handling HMRC audits and investigations.? Background in performance management.
