An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Project Accountant to join a vibrant & well-respected manufacturing company based in the Kendal area on a permanent basis. As the Senior Project Accountant, you will play a vital role in the ongoing development of the growth & development of the Project finance team, collaborating with operation & project teams across the business.If you have experience working within a manufacturing/FMCG/Construction or within a similar Project Accounting role which we're looking for, this exciting role could be the next step in your career, and we'd love to hear from you! About the roleBased in Kendal, you will be responsible for:

  • Analysis, maintenance, and calculation of project revenue - ensuring that internal & external audit trails are complete.
  • Production of detailed monthly reports, updating on project financial performance
  • Work with Project Finance & Senior finance to help steer positive transformation of the Project Finance function
  • Budgeting & forecasting across department and all projects
  • Lead the Project Finance Team.
  • Collaboration with operational teams across the business

About youThe ideal candidate for this position must have:

  • Experience within a project accountant role
  • Full qualified accountant (CGMA/CIMA/ACCA/ACA or similar)
  • 2+ years' experience within a similar role
  • Hands on approach, with team management, process & report development & collaboration
