Job Title: Electrical Project Engineer
Location: Kendal Main Office / Customer Sites
Our client is seeking a dedicated Electrical Project Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will deliver electrical, control, and instrumentation projects, ensuring compliance with BS7671 standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage site installation teams and subcontractors, addressing site and commercial queries.
- Assist in preparing tender packages and quotations for new and ongoing projects.
- Maintain project documentation in both company and client management systems, keeping stakeholders informed of progress.
- Produce essential technical documentation and manage project delivery from quotation to commissioning.
- Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- Collaborate with customers to develop tailored engineering and installation solutions.
- Order materials, verify their accuracy for site needs, and obtain supplier quotations.
- Attend site progress and client meetings as required.
- Ensure compliance with safety documentation, risk assessments, and installation standards.
Qualifications:
- Registered apprentice or equivalent training in electrical installation.
- NVQ Level 3 in electrical installation or approved equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer/Project Engineer.
- Proven competence in electrical compliance (BS7671).
- Knowledge of control systems and instrumentation.
- Completion of the latest BS7671 regulations course.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Understanding of site health and safety protocols.
- Leadership capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Completed Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme Course (SSSTS).
