Our client, a leading specialist manufacturer based near Kendal, is seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Operative to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a company recognized for producing high-quality products, with a strong reputation in the UK market. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and have a positive approach to learning, as full training will be provided. Due to the rural location, it is highly desirable for candidates to have their own transport.

• Machine Setup & Operation: Prepare and operate machinery to meet production requirements.
• Material Handling: Load materials into machines, ensuring smooth operation and accurate production.
• Quality Control: Conduct thorough inspections on finished items, confidently identifying and reporting any defects.
• Routine Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance checks to ensure machine efficiency and prevent downtime.
• Heavy Lifting & Equipment Use: Operate lifting equipment and handle materials as required, observing safe practices.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Follow stringent health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Site Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized workspace to support efficiency and safety.
• Team Collaboration: Work effectively within a team, ensuring clear communication and mutual support.

• Attention to Detail: Ability to carry out precise quality checks to uphold the company's high standards.
• Physical Stamina: Willingness to engage in physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting.
• Willingness to Learn: No previous manufacturing experience required; full on-the-job training is provided.
• Reliable Transportation: Due to the remote location, own transport is required.
