Job Summary:

As a Production Operative, you will play a vital role in the manufacture of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the work-at-height industry. You'll receive comprehensive training in operating both automatic and manual industrial machines, enabling you to process components and assemble top-quality products.

What You'll Do:

  • Assemble products and work systems with precision
  • Cut and kit components, preparing them for assembly
  • Utilise work equipment to manufacture high-quality products
  • Conduct in-process and final inspections to ensure top standards
  • Adhere to detailed work instructions and procedures
  • Maintain tools and machinery in excellent condition
  • Manage stock control effectively
  • Keep accurate records as needed
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised workspace
  • Comply with all Health and Safety procedures
  • Understand and implement lean manufacturing principles
  • Participate in ongoing training to enhance your skills
  • Undertake other tasks as required by the business

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is beneficial but not essential-full training will be provided!
  • Ability to work under pressure with great attention to detail
  • A knack for practical tasks will set you apart
  • Willingness to learn and follow written instructions is essential

Working Hours:

  • Full-time position, 37.5 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM
  • Enjoy a half-hour unpaid lunch break each day

Salary:

  • Annual salary of £23,716
