Are you a highly organised and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about the export industry?Our client, a leading export company based in Kendal is seeking a talented Export Finance Administrator & Office Support to join their dynamic team on a temporary basis.If you thrive in a fast-paced and diverse environment and are looking for a role where you can make a real impact, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!Start date - Monday 2nd September on a temporary basis.Hours: 8am - 4.30pmRate: £11.44 - £15.38 per hour based on experienceResponsibilities:-Manage and process export finance documentation, including letters of credit, bills of exchange, and insurance policies-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all export transactions are executed smoothly and efficiently-Monitor and track export shipments to ensure on-time delivery and accuracy-Assist with general office support tasks, such as answering phones, managing emails, and coordinating meetings-Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of export finance transactions-Prepare reports and presentations to support senior management in making informed business decisions-Stay up-to-date with export regulations and compliance requirements to ensure adherence at all times-Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing any inquiries or issues promptly and professionallyRequirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in export finance administration or a similar role within the export industry would be beneficial
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
  • Strong knowledge of export finance documentation and processes
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to identify and resolve issues independently
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • A positive and professional attitude, with a commitment to providing excellent customer service
  • SAP experience
  • Experience with creating commercial invoices (they use Just-trade),
  • Picking/packing lists and reconciling invoices and payments.
  • Financial/accounting experience to some level.
  • Ideally you will have experience with export and import paperwork. Having had experience with excisable goods would be a definite advantage.
