�? Join our team as a Midday Supervisor in the Kendal area! �?

?? This exciting opportunity is available until Friday 20th December, with potential permanent options for January onwards. You'll have the flexibility to work either at our primary or secondary site.

? The hours will be 12-1.30pm at the primary site and 12-2pm at the secondary site.

?? Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise pupils, ensuring their welfare and smooth handover between midday staff and teachers.
  • Swiftly address minor problems and disciplinary issues, escalating serious concerns to senior teaching staff.
  • Manage accidents, following established procedures for first aid assistance.
  • Maintain health and safety practises during the midday break.
  • Collaborate with kitchen/dining room staff for efficient meal service and support school policies on meals provision.
  • Set up and clear away tables in the dining room or classroom when required.

??????????? Child protection and promoting healthy eating are vital:

  • Follow child protection procedures, safeguarding the welfare of pupils.
  • Actively promote the school meals service, increasing awareness of healthy eating and encouraging healthy choices.

�? Essential:

  • Excellent communication skills across all levels.
  • Strong team player, understanding roles, responsibilities, and contributing constructively.
  • DBS check.

�? Desirable:

  • Relevant NVQ2 or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience working with or caring for pupils of a relevant age.
  • Familiarity with education practises and procedures related to pupil welfare and safety.
