A Technical Director is required to join a Building Design Consultancy in Cumbria. The company are one of the largest multi-discipline building design consultancies in the North of England with a consistent stream of workflow. They offer a broad range of services in Building Surveying, Civil & Structural, Highways and Drainage Engineering and more.

Technical Director The role:
- Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of Surveyors, Engineers and Architects to meet objectives and complete assignments to programme and budget
- Oversee the technical delivery of schemes
- Engage with new clients to secure new partnerships and progress business development opportunities
- Prepare specifications, tender and contract documents
- Prepare and present technical and progress reports
- Site visits to North Yorkshire (once a fortnight)
Technical Director Requirements:
- Be a Chartered Engineer, Surveyor or Architect (ARB, RIBA, CEng or RICS)
- Experience in the conceptual and detailed design of projects, including new build projects and renovations of existing structures
- Experience of dealing with statutory section agreements
- Skilled in coordinating detailed designs and specifications using AutoCAD, Revit, Tedds, Tekla Structural Designer or similar software packages
- Full driving license
