My client is a family run Groundworks Contractor that have been operating for over 40 years in the Lake District & Surrounding areas.

They operate in 2 capacities as a main contractor on Civil projects and as a subcontractor working on a range of new build projects from Housing, Commercial Builds, Education & Healthcare projects.

Must Have:
•    Black CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid
•    Structured Career History
•    Experience managing Civil & Groundwork Projects
•    Experience on projects up to at least £10m
•    At least 5 years managing sites
•    Able to get to the Kendal office easily

Duties:
•    Manage & Co-ordinate health & safety across the site with the project manager.
•    Ensure you’re a visible presence on site.
•    Ensure the project is completed on time and within budget.
•    Coordinate and schedule all activities on the site, including subcontractors, suppliers, and tradespeople.
•    Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to ensure work is being carried out to the required standards.
•    Resolve any issues, conflicts, or disputes that may arise during the course of the project.
•    Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.
•    Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, changes, and milestones.
•    Lead and supervise a team of site personnel, providing direction, guidance, and support as needed.
