Job Opportunity: Site Manager (Permanent Position)
Location: Westmorland and Furness District, Cumbria
Salary: 45,000 - 50,000 + Excellent Benefits Package
Our client, a respected building engineering services company, has secured a prestigious contract with the local council in Westmorland and Furness. As a result, we are seeking a Site Manager to oversee a range of exciting projects, including education, healthcare, and other local authority developments. This permanent role offers a competitive salary and an excellent benefits package, including a company car allowance, healthcare, and a 10% salary bonus scheme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all on-site activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations and site safety plans.
- Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, including clients, local authorities, and senior management.
- Monitor project progress and report on key milestones, identifying and addressing any issues.
- Ensure all site documentation, including risk assessments, method statements, and daily reports, are up-to-date.
Qualifications & Tickets Required:
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
- CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) Card
- First Aid at Work Certificate
- Proven experience in managing construction projects in a variety of sectors.
- Knowledge of UK building regulations and health and safety laws.
- Full UK driving licence.
