A highly successful market-leading engineering company has a brand-new opportunity for a mechanical maintenance engineer to join their team in Kendal. This hands-on role involves planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery, working Monday to Friday on a rotating shift pattern of earlies, lates, and nights.

Key Responsibilities & Skills:
- Industry experience - manufacturing or distribution environment
- Mechanical expertise - planned & reactive maintenance, fault finding
- Equipment knowledge - hydraulics, pneumatics, belts, bearings, conveyors, and rotating machinery
- Problem solving - diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, and ensuring minimal downtime
- Hands-on role - working closely with production and maintenance teams to keep machinery running efficiently
