Reed Business Support are currently assisting our client based on the outskirts of Kendal with the recruitment for an Office Manager to join their small and friendly team on a full time and permanent basis.

Our client are within the creative sector, and are looking for an Office Manager to assist in the smooth running of the business. The role will be involved in supporting the team with the brand, packaging and online content for their diverse range of clients.

Role Overview:

As an Office Manager, you will play a central role in delivering exceptionally crafted work for our clients from the initial brief to the final delivery. This position requires strong communication and collaboration skills and offers an opportunity for professional and personal growth within a creative and supportive environment.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Support the Managing Director, Commercial Manager, and our team of 8 professionals.
  • Manage projects and studio systems.
  • Handle day-to-day basic accounting, record keeping, and administrative tasks.
  • Welcome and manage client reception and interactions.
  • Manage IT systems and liaise with external IT support.
  • Assist in marketing and PR tasks.
  • Manage studio facilities and supplies, ensure hospitality and housekeeping, and provide general studio administrative support.
  • Proof reading of documents

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Practical and adaptable to facilitate the smooth day-to-day running of operations.
  • A keen eye for design and a passion for brand and creativity is desired.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organisational skills.
  • Highly motivated, self-starting, proactive, and attentive.
  • Experience with macOS, Google Mail, and Google Workplace is strongly preferable.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (especially Acrobat Pro) is advantageous.
  • Experience in a similar role in a creative industry is ideal, but other relevant experiences will be considered.
