Westmorland & Furness Council are seeking passionate and experienced Children & Families Social Workers to join their Support and Protect Team. With two positions based in Kendal and one in Penrith, this is an opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of children and families across the region.

Responsibilities

Requirements
  • Qualifications: Degree in Social Work and registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience: Proven track record in statutory children's social work, including safeguarding and court processes.

  • Knowledge: Thorough understanding of relevant legislation, guidance, and best practices.
