Warehouse Operator

We are looking to recruit for an experienced Warehouse Operator to work within our busy manufacturing company based just outside Bridgend.

This is a permanent full-time role and will be working shifts Between 6am to 6pm.

Duties:

• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles. Checking for damaged or missing items and then sorting stock for storage in the warehouse.
• Record of the stock on the warehouse management system.
• Undertaking month end stock checks.
• Operating forklift truck to move and rearrange stock.
• Ideally a 7.5t licence or class 2 Operating the 7.5 tonne vehicle.
• Picking orders allocated by Sales.
• Organising transfers between the warehouse and production areas ensuring timely issue and quantities required by production.
• Cleaning and maintaining the warehouse and associated vehicles.
• Adhering to workplace health and safety rules.
• Keep communication lines open with colleagues and management.

Skills

• Up-to-date CPC licence
• Car driver (Ideally 7.5 ton or class 2)
• Current FLT driver licence).
• Warehouse Experience
• Effective communication skills
• Self-motivation and willing to work under your own initiative.

Company offers a generous salary package of 12.44 per hour plus up to 20% shift allowance depending on the shift (mornings are 10% allowance and PM are 20% allowance)
