We do this by showcasing their talents, skills, and unique experience in an inclusive environment that helps them thrive.The role:Reporting to the Management Accountant Lead (DD&T), the DD&T Management Accountant provides comprehensive accounting support to the Digital, Data & Technology (DD&T) function, executing monthly accounting processes and ensuring appropriate accounting controls are followed. It is responsible for conducting analysis and providing reporting and insights direct to business stakeholders to support effective decision-making.Responsibilities:路 Effectively execute month end accounting processes (including balance sheet reconciliations), ensuring accuracy, integrity and completeness of financial information.路 Responsible for the delivery of high-quality reporting, information packs, and commentary to support the DD&T Management Accountant Lead in providing insights to enable the business to make effective strategic and operational decisions.路 Deliver customer service excellence to internal customers, ensuring financial performance insights are delivered directly to the business and that all financial performance is understood. Provide timely responses to queries received relating to month end processes.路 Work collaboratively with teams across DD&T to build strong relationships and ensure effective financial reporting support is provided across the business. Attend meetings to update on monthly performance, forecast updates and any risks and opportunities, to support effective decision-making.路 Prepare forecast updates and provide effective narrative to internal customers to ensure the key messages are understood and that all business budget holders understand their budgets and forecasts.路 While FSO are under Transitional Service Agreements (TSAs), work with the TSA Manager and DD&T value and performance roles to ensure accurate forecasting and accounting for TSA activity.路 Ensure that all controls for the DD&T function are properly conducted and any deviations are escalated as appropriate and remedied accordingly.路 Deliver high-quality inputs to the regulatory reporting pack through liaison with the Regulation team to ensure smooth integration of deliverables into business submissions.Requirements:路 Experience in delivering management accounting activities (including planning, forecasting, and budgeting).路 Experience of using S/4 HANA is preferred.路 Experience in a business facing role ideally in a regulated business.路 Previous experience of working with Transitional Service Agreements (TSAs) is preferred.路 Strong understanding of governance, risk, and internal control frameworks.路 Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.路 Strong customer service orientation.Candidates will ideally show evidence of the above in their CV in order to be considered.Please be advised if you haven't heard from us within 48 hours then unfortunately your application has not been successful on this occasion, we may however keep your details on file for any suitable future vacancies and contact you accordingly.
