Role Overview:As a Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive accounting support, ensuring accuracy in financial information and executing monthly accounting processes. Your insights and analysis will directly contribute to effective decision-making and help drive the business forward towards its strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute month-end accounting processes and maintain the integrity of financial information.
  • Deliver high-quality reporting and insights to support strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Provide excellent customer service by delivering financial performance insights directly to the business.
  • Collaborate with teams across the organisation to ensure effective financial reporting support.
  • Prepare forecast updates and provide effective narrative to budget holders.
  • Ensure compliance with controls and escalate any deviations.
  • Support the external audit process and provide accurate responses to queries.
  • Conduct ad-hoc training to promote financial literacy and understanding.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in management accounting and financial planning.
  • Familiarity with S/4 HANA is preferred.
  • Business-facing experience, preferably in a regulated industry.
  • Strong understanding of governance, risk, and internal control frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Customer service-oriented.
  • Graduate level education or equivalent professional experience
  • Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA) or working towards one of these qualifications.
