Alexander Daniels are working with a great business based nr Warwick to recruit for a management accountant.
You will support the Senior Management Accountant in the creation and delivery of financial reports, including monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, additionally you will support in forecasting and budgeting
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely management accounts are produced and distributed, providing explanations of key variances and interpreting financial trends.
- Develop and maintain effective and accurate policy, procedure, and control documentation, ensuring all financial transactions adhere to these controls.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts, complete period-end control returns, and ensure robust processes, promptly investigating and resolving any discrepancies.
- Assist the Finance Business Partner in the budget, forecasting, and 3-year planning processes.
- Support the preparation and submission of statutory year-end and half-year audit documentation.
- Aid the Senior Management Accountant and the Finance team in effectively reporting
The ideal candidate will be
- Fully/Newly qualified accountant (ACA CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent) - Part qualified will be considered
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Advanced IT skills, including proficiency in MS Excel
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a finance role, preferably within management accounts
