** Part-time Statutory Accountant **

We are seeking a Financial Reporting Specialist to enhance our financial reporting and compliance operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our processes.
Day-to-day of the role:- Ensure timely preparation and submission of UK and Overseas legal entity statutory reporting and tax returns, adhering to local GAAP/IFRS and other reporting standards.
- Regulatory and compliance reports & surveys
- Balance sheet reconciliations and support with VAT
- Support the manager with common processes, and other ad hoc projects to drive efficiency and quality improvements within the team.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, CA, ACCA, or CIMA) with hands-on experience in applying IFRSs for financial reporting.
- Strong technical understanding of VAT, local GAAP, US GAAP, and IFRS for financial reporting, including knowledge of overseas legislation and requirements.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivots and formulas. SAP knowledge is a plus.
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines while demonstrating strong teamwork skills.
- Prior experience in auditing, particularly within large practice firms, would be an advantage.
