An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Project Accountant to join a leading Industrial / Manufacturing firm based in Warwickshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for the financial management of projects, working closely with project managers to ensure accurate and timely reporting of project performance.

Description

  • Oversee the financial management of projects, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Work closely with project managers to monitor project costs and ensure budget compliance.
  • Prepare and present project financial reports to senior management.
  • Assist in the development of project budgets and forecasts.
  • Review and approve project-related invoices and ensure timely payments.
  • Conduct financial risk assessments for projects and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure project accounting aligns with company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in project review meetings, providing financial insights and recommendations.

Profile

A successful Senior Project Accountant should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting certification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in project accounting within the Industrial / Manufacturing industry.
  • Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects concurrently.
