Description
- Oversee the financial management of projects, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Work closely with project managers to monitor project costs and ensure budget compliance.
- Prepare and present project financial reports to senior management.
- Assist in the development of project budgets and forecasts.
- Review and approve project-related invoices and ensure timely payments.
- Conduct financial risk assessments for projects and propose mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure project accounting aligns with company policies and procedures.
- Participate in project review meetings, providing financial insights and recommendations.
Profile
A successful Senior Project Accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting certification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).
- Proven experience in project accounting within the Industrial / Manufacturing industry.
- Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects concurrently.
