Calling all graduates looking to step into a career within accounting! This company is looking for an ambitious and engaging individual to join their team as a Trainee Management Accountant. With a long-standing reputation of providing an excellent service and meeting clients' wants and needs, this is a fantastic role where you will be trained to manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring customer satisfaction through the accounting services you provide.

In this office-based role you will work alongside the supervisor who will oversee your training with a variety of accounting duties providing you with a unique wide range of experience. Main responsibilities will include but aren't limited to, handling and resolving customer account queries over the phone and via email, bank reconciliations, producing financial reports, handling sales and purchase invoices, cash flows and payroll. As well as completed ad hoc duties as required.

What you will need:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to manage stakeholder relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • An AAT qualification or an accounting degree is advantageous but not required.
  • Strong IT skills including Word, Excel and Outlook is essential. Proficiency with using Sage and Xero is also advantageous but not a requirement.
  • Be self-organised with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively to meet both independent and team deadlines.
