Alexander Daniels is currently recruiting for a Banking Assistant to join an established business based in Warwickshire on a full time, permanent basis. This role sits within the Cash and Banking team and would suit someone who has a passion for transactional finance, with excellent problem-solving skills and who is eager to grow within this field.

Some key duties will include:

  • Regular reconciliation of cashbook and statement items
  • Investigating transactions to prevent fraud
  • Assisting internal and external auditors
  • Ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded
  • Record all actions taken for unconcealed items
  • Escalating discrepancies to senior management
  • Reconcile the receivable records with sales invoices
  • Assist with query resolution
  • Supporting the Senior Assistant with any other duties

Ideal candidate will be:

  • Experienced within a similar transactional finance role
  • Confident using Excel (including Pivots and VLOOKUPs)
  • Highly organised and have great attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills when working with stakeholders across the business
