Our client, a leading energy consultancy, is seeking a confident and proactive Energy Sales Consultant to join their energy contract sales team. In this exciting role, you'll play a key part in driving business success by securing new customers, upselling additional services, and collaborating with other departments to maximise opportunities. Key responsibilities:

  • Manage the sales process for electricity and gas contracts tailored to SME businesses.
  • Engage with both new and existing customers to sell energy contracts.
  • Provide competitive quotes for both matrix and bespoke customers.
  • Tailor products and services to meet the specific needs of customers
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities across other areas of the business.
  • Prepare and contribute to detailed sales reports.
  • Take full responsibility for ensuring the quality of sales through to supply activation.

Skills and experience required:

  • Energy Industry experience - Essential
  • B2B sales experience (Telesales) with strong commercial awareness.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
  • The ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
  • Strong judgment and decision-making skills, capable of identifying new opportunities 
  • A proactive team player with the ability to work independently 
  • 5 GCSEs (grades A-C) or equivalent, with strong IT skills - Excel and Word

Benefits

 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays), plus excellent company benefits including pension, group life assurance (3 times salary)You will be based 2 days per week in the Kenilworth offices, working 37 hours per week.
