Alexander Daniels are working with an established business based in Warwick who are expanding and seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk to support its growth. Reporting into the Purchase Ledger Manager, you will be responsible for providing financial, clerical and administrative services to ensure efficient running of the purchase ledger and ensure that payments are made in accordance with company timescales and within relevant payment terms.

Daily Duties include:

  • Processing high volumes of supplier invoices
  • Coding invoices to correct nominal ledger codes
  • Dealing with supplier enquiries
  • Liaising with managers for approval
  • Obtaining proof of delivery
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements to creditor accounts

Essential requirements:

  • Demonstrate good organisational skills, working both independently and part of a team
  • Experience within a similar role
  • Work to meet strict deadlines, with accuracy and excellent attention to detail
  • Clear communication skills for dealing with suppliers and internal managers
